Maurice Elhimeur

Instructor

  • Brazilian JiuJitsu Purple belt

Maurice Elhimeur is originally from Paris but has travelled extensively throughout his journey. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for MMA. During high school, he immersed himself in the sport, following major matches worldwide, studying training videos, and keeping up with the latest news. This passion led him to join a jiu-jitsu club as soon as the opportunity arose, and he began competing as a white belt shortly after.

After earning his blue belt, he competed nationally before progressing to the international stage. He had the privilege of training under Professor Bruno Fernandes at Gracie Barra while pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Montreal, Quebec.

In 2019, he decided to take a gap year to focus entirely on training in the UAE, culminating in his participation in the World Pro in Abu Dhabi.

Following the pandemic, his teacher in France promoted him to purple belt—a milestone moment in his journey. On that day, he was also entrusted with leading the adult class at his academy. Teaching and sharing his knowledge with both children and adults has been a dream come true.

In 2024, he reached another significant milestone by obtaining his Federal Trainer Certificate from the French Jiu-Jitsu Federation.

For Maurice, jiu-jitsu is more than just a sport—it is a way of life and a passion he is committed to passing on to the next generation.
